Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again..

Thanks

How many workstations? I am thinking it may be a licencing thing. I dont have any experience with non select licenced copies of windows.

Could it be that the version you were using only supported one workstation sign on with a given id. If that is the case if another workstation is signed on with you then it used your one available slot so that when the second PC signed on it was denied. the second time you tried to join the domain were the other PC's signed on? I will bet that they were off.

You may want to create some bogus user accounts for testing for example each computers name with the same password.

The above is just SWAG, biased on the information provided (Scientific Wild Ass Guess)

Got ya basically you have the 180 day trial licence. I have had bizzare problems in the past with not joining as the local administrator. (signed in as administrator on the workstation not just as an account with global admin rights) and the other thing that is really common was adding a .com at the end of the domain. (it will add it automatically however if you add it windows freaks out)

Ask the other 2 questions I may know a more definate answer.
