Light Outlook Express replacement?

Posted 19 March 2007 - 05:14 AM

My work machine is super-crap, made mainly of wood an leaves by UG-Tech back in the Neolithic era. I'm running out of ram and storage space on a regular basis and looking to optimise what ever I can.

Does anyone know of a light replacement for Outlook express that has roughly the same features but a small ram footprint?

Have you tried Thunderbird? It's more like outlook, but it's a mozilla product. Might run a little better?

I use Thunderbird at home. I prefer it to Outlook but it does like it's fair share of ram too.
Typically I find that OE and TB both ru nat between 15-30mb of ram
