Hi - I developed this little problem a couple months ago and I seem to be stuck with it. When I crop through Image | Crop and then resize I get a faded border around my image. It only appears after resising. See the attached image for an example. I saw a suggestion online that it had to do with anti-aliasing, but I couldn't make any headway with that. Thanks in advance.

When you make a selection to crop, before you hit crop, you can go to Select > Refine Edge, then set your contrast to 100%, check decontaminate colors and set that to 100% also. Make sure everything else is at 0. That might help.
Also, if you resize down to about the size you need before cropping, the border will be much less noticeable, if at all.
