Definitely worth the wait. XNA Game Studio 4.0 Programming: Developing for Windows Phone 7 and Xbox 360 will be a good read.

The time issue was partly my fault. I first couldn't find a shipper to Canada, when I found one they took three weeks to tell me they couldn't process my order, & then I just did everything myself, which took time for me to get off my duff.
