User input in a stored procedure

Posted 04 December 2011 - 08:02 AM

Hello everyone,

I am having a problem in sql developer which is i can not do an user input in a stored procedure.

I am trying to use the comand promtp and accept, but there are errors like:

Error(4,8): PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "Input degree (numerically in degrees F)?:" when expecting one of the following: constant exception <an identifier> <a double-quoted delimited-identifier> table LONG_ double ref char time timestamp interval date binary national character nchar

My english is not be the best, but i think you can understand it. I just want to read data to a variable as a text or number inside a procedure. I've searched it on google and found nothing.

Thanks
