LINQ with & without LAMBA subforums

Posted 31 December 2011 - 11:29 AM

Hi, I was just thinking that since LINQ probably isn't going anywhere anytime soon, that it would be cool to have a forum for it... In fact, a tutorial section as well, I know that I have a few tutes I wouldn't mind posting...

Anyway, Thanks...

Wouldn't LINQ be covered under the umbrella of .NET in general? I mean it's a subset of the framework; would there be enough interest in making a narrow band subforum just for a part of a language's new update?

Yeah, it definitely would fall under the umbrella of .NET, so perhaps place it under the .NET Framework, I mean it is an API of it ... I was just thinking that it's really going to become more and more popular for posts... and why not capture them here @ DIC instead of loosing them to StackOverflow or some place... Not that there's anything wrong with them...

LINQ is a very small subset of the language, it is incorporates into. It's not like we are swamp with LINQ related questions.
