date and time displayed together in one textbox

Posted 09 April 2007 - 06:27 AM

hi, i have a problem. I have used data binding in vb.net 2003 to connect to an access database and bind the textboxes to the datbase fields.

the fields that i have binded are Date and Time, but when i run the program both the date and time are displayed in both textboxes.

i figured that the problem is probably to do with the fact the when choosing a data type in access you have to choose DATE/TIME.

thank you in advance any help is much appreciated.

Yes the problem is in Access you will need to set the format property inside Access for each of those fields.
I would suggest using Medium or Short Date for your date column and using Medium or Short Time for your time column.
