Posted 10 January 2012 - 05:13 AM

Hi Friends,

After a long delay after Kernal.org being hacked, Linux 3.2 has finally been released with major enhancements in almost every facet of operating system. And, amongst the major enhancements is a pair of improvements to two Linux file systems. Ext4 now supports block sizes up to 1 MB, thereby decreasing the time spent on block allocations. So if you want to try Kernel 3.2, it is currently available in the latest beta release of Ubuntu 12.04.
