Recruiting for a professional team

Posted 13 January 2012 - 07:16 AM

Hello my name i Kenneth. I'm an experienced CEO that is about to launch an company that is going to totally change the game industry on mobile devices!

But i can't do this alone..
I need a team with professional programmers that are able to create the game engine. We will have good communication between all the workers so we can all learn from each other.

The game will be an adventure rpg game. I bet everyone here have been playing zelda, pokemon, etc.. This is building on the same genre just with more modern theme, graphics and story. The game will be topping the markets in weeks!

But there is still allot to do so i need competent and creative minded workers that are able to work in a team with this project. If you think you might be interested, send me a PM with the following:

- Tell me a bit about yourself(not needed)
- Your previous work (if any?)
- How many years you have been programming
- For how many hours a week that you will be able to work
- What relevant programming language do you know?

Thanks!
- Kenneth

Could you maybe tell us a bit about about your applicable CEO experience?
Also, what platforms should this engine be able run on? IOS? android? Windows phone 7?
How will the developers be compensated for their invested time?
Who will create the artwork for this game? The developers themself?

I have been studying entrepreneur and CEO in Norway for a few years. And i have also made an online site where people could sell they're used clothes. But i found it was to boring so i quit it. Now im signing up with something that i really like to do, that can inspire me to change the game inustry on hand-held devices.

The game is going to run on android and IOs platforms.

Before the demo has been launched, there wont be any money dealt out.
I'm making deals with companies and individuals getting a "%" of income.
After the demo launch i have some investor contact that may support us.

If you're experienced in Business, why are you expecting people to work for free?

Your grammar needs work, which was the first clue in. No one worthwhile will work for free on a project like this, period.

Before looking for people to put together this dream project, I suggest you first find a group of investors. They can put money into the company for the rights to a part of the profits. You can then use that money to pay your workers. You should have just enough money to pay for everything until the demo comes out. Then you either find more investors or start pre-selling the product. Of course, this will require you to have a good plan in place to convince the investors to give you the money in the first place.

I've never taken a business class, so I'm sure you know all of this and have found several investors already.
