Loading image while reading from database

Posted 09 February 2012 - 01:23 AM

Hi everyone.Good day..
I have a code wherein datagridview will load according to the query given.I have no problem with that but when i put a loading image while reading the database, loading image wont work as well as if i put only "Please Wait" to a label.
I searched from google and said that backgroundworker sahould use to this problem. But how can i use the backgroundworker?i have no idea about it.

Maybe you should start with simple threading, outside of this application build a simple threading application, once you understand that you'll better understand what you're doing with the backgroundworker. Then you can practice with a background worker, and come back to your application.
