School Network Question/Problem

Posted 10 February 2012 - 09:26 PM

Hello. My school has internet, but my problem is that I can't get the internet to communicate with another client (multiplayer). Recently, Halo:CE (the free edition) was uploaded to the network. Most people play with other people via LAN. I am curious if their would be anyway to modify the network to allow internet multiplayer.

We have HaloCE at my school and the firewall blocks games from getting through. Student users can't modify the firewall but staff users can.

We generally do not encourage hacking here, and bypassing your schools network without the staff explicitly granting permission or doing the task themselves is most definitely unethical. I would rather doubt a school would want students playing games online like that.

Agreed - the security is there for a reason and we cannot help you circumvent that. If you have a question about this shoot me a PM.
