is it websense? this happened to me last week and i emailed them and they said they recategorized it. after 24 hours of propogating i finally got access again. it might also be that your work is just way behind on updates.

Today's job: Finishing up with breadcrumbs in the last few screens and then on to trying to figure out why the allocation locks aren't being released.

What I do is basically deposit my paycheck. The way I keep the paycheck coming is by being incredibly useful. Documenting the godawful thing that we're building is useful.
However, this week I've also done linux sysadmin stuff ("You with the ponytail and the beard, get over here and fix this linux problem!"), svn support, yes, some QA (someone's gotta find the broken shit, and our QA team is not managing to do it) and bug fixing. (when the lead developer comes to the technical writer and says, "hey, would you take a look at this for me?" you know something's a little wrong - especially since she writes better documentation than I do, when she writes!)

So yes, I work in QA, or something, or pretty much anything. I think my job title should be "utility infielder". I'm the swiss-army geek.

But tonight, I'm working on the first problem set for Dan Grossman's Programming Languages course, in order to take my mind off all of that.

Trying to figure out on if I should go to the hospital even though I have no clue where my insurance card is or even if it's actually active yet, or wait till I can get a doctor's appointment. Can't sleep. D: Why does healthcare have to be so complicated and expensive?! Just wanna hear a doctor tell me I'm dumb and not dying.

And this is why Obama's healthcare idea was a good idea. Then you wouldn't have had to wait until you found your insurance card, or had just been paid.
