Ati Radeon not working in Ubuntu 7.04

Posted 21 April 2007 - 10:33 AM

I need to get my graphics card to work. I've tried for almost a day straight and I've got nothing. I'm am 90% sure it's something in the xorg.conf file but for the life of my I don't know what. I'm trying to use the fglrx driver and I think I need to find the busID of my graphics card. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

hey captain, for fiesty questions <dream.in.code> may not have the answers for you just yet. only a few of us have installed it and played around with it, and my knowledge is just cursory at best.

I am surprised though because as of what I read most of those cards were supposed to work out of the box. But again, I think when i downloaded beryl and installed it there were some special links to ATI card help. I would talk to the ubuntu community itself on their forums, they are quick and helpful.
