Hello D.I.C.,
I'm working on creating an access point by using a wireless adapter that's connected to a desktop computer (Windows 7). I haven't found any guides/tutorials on how to do so but I'm sure at least one person on here will be able to point me in the right direction.
Suggestions, links and any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think you need a wireless router connected to a network. There is a wireless router 2 floor below me, and I can connect my cell phone and computer to the net through it.

I understand that but what I meant was to connect a wireless adapter to a computer and allow the computer to be an access point.
If anyone else runs into this thread this guide may be helpful.
