Changing Text Colour

Posted 25 April 2007 - 03:07 AM

I am a real newbie to HTML but totally addicted to learning now, I have done some very basic stuff with my homepage in the game Virtual Horse Ranch, but am stuck on how to change the colour of some text below horizontal bar. It is in it's default black as you can see in the picture.

Hope you can help.

There are a few ways of changing the color but am confused as you appear to have done so on all the other blocks of texts, but, you can:
<font color="red">Text in here</font>

Or you can use stylesheets, a few ways of doing this with stylesheets but the one that I will suggest is:
<!--- In Head --->
<style type="text/css">
.style1 {color: #5F0E78}
</style>

<!--- Stuff --->
<span class="style1">Text in here</span>

Hope that answers the question,
Ed
