now you can tell i am a TRUE alienware sell out , i took my Older laptop and took a Alienware coupon i had , cut out their slogen with a razor , and glued them onto my old HP laptop , not much of a mod but i think it looks cool .. my digital camera wasnt working right so i scaned my laptop , yes , i layed my laptop on my scanner and then scanned it and made the image smaller , the image is a Low quality , Resized Jpeg so it looks like crap , but you get the basic idea ....

Hey I saw this and thought of another way this could be a achieved, though not quite as cheap.... Check it out.

Laser Etching - This would easily work on a plastic cover of a laptop..... Man you gave me a nice idea for my lap top! Now if I can find some place local to do it.... :biggrin:

want cheap & easy?  find some one to cut vinyl for you (i can price it, but it won't be 'as' cheap (shipping & all that).  just like a bumper sticker, letters only

actually, the next set of mod pix 'fer dear old Wintermute/Big Blue (ie. after the ones coming 'any day') will have a veehry nice vinyl IBM-logo wrap on it (think little rice-burner cars w/'Mugen' or 'TRD' (actually, that's exactly where the idea came from, so now i guess i'll have to kill you (note to kids: drinking is bad.  don't do it, especially at 730 (local) in the morning (even after working 3rd shift))

yeah i can get lazer cut vynal for free ( i have friends at a sign shop ) , but lazer etching would be sweet ...
