He's trying to kill me. That's bullying. That's illegal in Arizona. I hope he lives in Arizona. I hope his cell mate is looking for a life partner.

He'll be okay, he'll have plenty of cigarettes to spare. He'll have lots of special friends to help him out.

Rehash time!
- If you smoke a lot, get a heavy duty replacement (high-nicotine content gum, etc)
- be aware that replacements that aren't actually inhaled will take a day or two to adjust to, but the switch is relatively mild compared to going cold turkey.
- step down your nicotine intake on the replacement- first by frequency of use, then by nicotine content
- start finding healthy replacements for smoking, or less-damaging rewards for resisting cravings. Foods with high fat and sugar content do a good job of this; Chocolate, peanut butter, avacados, durian (if you're in a place where you can get it) and so on are all good rewards for resisting a craving.

Too many tacos and/or the spurting forth of bodily fluids in a sexual manner can (and usually does) result in a stronger craving for cigarettes. Fuck me, feed me, let me smoke.

It's because smokers like share their drug with unwilling participants that there's such a high level of backlash against them.
Dont know about the situation in the USA but banning smoking in pubs in England pretty much single handedly destroyed the traditional pub! So maybe non smokers enjoyed the smokey atmosphere? The only successful traditional pubs now are ones with a good

As they save money having by not having to treat the heart/lung disease it causes.
The duty we pay on cigarettes is like a private health plan.

and never started smoking in the first place..
It is better to have smoked and quit than never to have smoked at all...
To the OP I have a friend that swears by his electric cigarette, definately a good way to reduce your nicotine dependancy and save alot of money.

Yeah, that's true here. It turns out that non-smokers aren't very good drinkers*, so the pubs had to turn into restaurants or bad nightclubs. There's not a lot of places left that I'd want to spend much time in. Saves me some money, I guess, but it's a shame to see a culture die because of a bunch of liberal politicians looking for someone they could kick without suffering any electoral harm.
*This should have been obvious to begin with: if non-smokers wanted to drink in non-smoking bars, there would have been more non-smoking bars for them to go to.

Who said smoking wasn't cool? Obviously nobody wants to be seen in a non smoking bar/pub
I don't know about cool, but when I was working as a musician, the non-smoking bars never paid worth a damn. They couldn't afford to, they had no customers.
The smoking laws are one of the reasons I got out of the business.

Correction: I think he wanted you to kill yourself. He was just offering to provide the rope with which to hang yourself. That should still be legal.
