Zerg Rush

Google has a new easter egg apparently. Google Zerg Rush and watch as little o's start to destroy your search results. Try to stop them by clicking on them before they destroy the entire page!

Fun little thing I came across earlier today that made me laugh and helped kill a few boring minutes during the lunch break.

You use bing or Duck Duck go.

Oh, and if you hit the "x" on the counter in the top right corner it resets the page to normal.

If you hit the "Clear" button under your score, it goes away.

If you google "binary" the section that shows the amount of results returned is translated to binary.

Probably someone spent an afternoon on it. I mean really, it's generating a bunch of divs and moving them around. My first guess is, someone wanted to play with Dart and this is what they came up with.

Things like this have made me think about how I can put an easter egg into the software I'm working on a work before leaving in a month. Though the people who are going to be using the software are high paid idiots so they will probably just think anything is a bug.
