RPG, FPS and TBS. Though I lag one generation in the gaming world (I just bought a PS2, yey!) I make it up by playing lots of games.

Right now:

RPG - Persona 4, the 1st Suikoden(on my phone)
FPS - Black
TBS - Makai Kingdom, though I haven't touched it for a while.

sandbox games (no goals, just an environment and rules- eg, minecraft) and stealth games (the early splinter cells, the Thief game series, Hitman, etc).

Hockey Games(NHL2k8 is my all time fav game, EA NHL is very meh)
FPS or TPS
RPGs(turn based or action)

Not that it really is a genre but I love playing indie games, full of creativity and uniqueness (Most the time anyways) But as per genre FPS/Action RPG and Sandbox!
