I loved Blake Stone! quality game. Came on a big demo disc of shareware that I had, along with Jazz Jackrabbit.

How about Rise of the Triad? How old is that game?

I remember picking up a demo disc from best buy (for free) that had Hexen, Heretic, Rise of the Triad, Doom, and a Quake game or two on it.. it turns out they were the full versions with minor shareware nag screens on them. Score.

Yeah, I remember only being able to play the first chapters/episodes of those games.

Guy at work says that the wolf3d browser game is created using dom/css and no canvas.
