You should check to see if your power supply is powerful enough for your new video card.
for example:
I see a lot of old PC's with only a 250watt power supply.
Most of the newer video cards that I've seen require a 350watt or more power supply.
So you might want to upgrade your power supply too.

In theory no.. but that varies with the case, what you are moving towards, and etc. Eyeball on the back of your case where the power supply fan is.. are there screws that appear to be holding it in place? How about inside the case?
Also tally up all the power connectors and types you have.. you would need to make sure you have that many, at least, with your new one.

On the back of the case there is screws holding it in place. The case is:
Mid-size ATX
Height: 37.7 cm (14.84 inches)
Width: 16.9 cm (6.65 inches)
Length: 42.6 cm (16.77 inches)

As for the power connectors I will have to look

As in regular ol' screws? Does it appear anything is screwing it into the case?

Well - find a power supply the wattage you need and with at *least* those connectors.. Assuming you want to get a new powersupply..
