MySQL Connector/Net For Published Applications

Posted 24 May 2012 - 02:21 PM

I used MySQL Connector/Net to connect to my C# application to my MySQL database. When i published the application, the person that wants to run it needs the connector as well. How can work around this so the user doesn't have to download the connector?

When you publish, it should include required DLLs with it. I'm not sure how it handles GACed assemblies. When you say "publish", do you mean the click-once deployment? Or using a setup project??
