There was a time I went to a 'Big Boy' restaurant and bought the same thing every time and I knew what it cost. The lad at the window asked for one dollar more than it should have been. I corrected him and went back to work with my lunch. I called the manager at the store and mentioned that this $1 over cost may be to line his pockets. I never saw him there again.

I just now readed this thread and want to thank B9 for strategically placing a conversational thread such that it would support a discussion I was having with my father in law when I ran across it as he was making his usual inane point that only an idiot would accept.
