Completely back on the original topic of the post. Procrastination from programming usually leads to me making really bad programmer art. So I decided it was time for me to work on the splash screen logo for my game.

Constructive criticism if at all possible ( SuperSloth) lol

Here we go!



This is going to be animated also, but that takes a lot of time, So I would rather get the baseline done before I make a ton of animations

Dude, you shouldn't capitalize that, it isn't a proper noun.

Your splash screen looks fucking terrible. Stick with simple solid colors that are complimentary, and not "american middle school sports team" complimentary, because fuck putting purple and yellow together. Come up with a unique-ish font, do a solid color, make it readable, and have an interesting background that doesn't make you want to look away. The game controller is a good idea: the fire isn't, and the mountain / rocky shit underneath is terrible. Also the fire shouldn't be ejaculating.

You can cite taste or style and say that I have none, but if you're putting this much effort into your game you're going to look like a tool if you can't even come up with a decent splash screen for it.
