my only tip to sloth, sice i know jack squat about hardware: build the whole system based on what works best for UT. :biggrin:

Nah man that looks great as a system. Thats what mine will roughly look like when im done upgrading minus a few things and adding a couple. But thats not bad... at all... and AMD r00ls!

The only things I have against the AMD is the fact that part of the BIOS is stored on the HD and if you don't install it you won't get the performance you expect. I keep forgetting any time I reformat or change my HD that I need to install the BIOS updates immediately after the OS before I do anything else.

The other problem I have with AMD is their reaction to overheating. Please make sure you get a more than adequate heat sink and fan (or other, better, cooling system) or you may find you have an over toasty CPU ...

SPEAKERS! cant forget those, i would HIGHLY suggest getting a set of the Logitech z560's. I have them now and they are BETTER than the klipschs, they are only about 150 too!

yea, i havent even thought about speakers yet.

and actually, that processor, and mother board have been outperforming p4's at 1.6ghz

you know... everyone says that AMD is a good gaming processor... ####, the game cube s a good gaming platform... but i still wouldn't buy one.  (sorry sloth)
