other than that... i think it's a killer setup. i like the RAM and the monitor size you chose... i'm still trying to fill up my 20GB HDD... (my Mp3s are stored remotely) but i guess 100BG is something to GROOOW into.

You're right about the DVD/CD-RW. I would probably be better off with two drives but I always make an image before I create a CD anyway, so that wasn't a problem.
As far as the HD, I have a 40GB that is almost full. I tend to be a pack rat and have several GB of files, utilities, games, etc I have DLed over the years. I keep it all fairly well organized so can usually find something quickly if I need it. One of these days I really need to remove at least some of the older files to off line CD storage to free up HD space.
It was mostly a status thing though. It would be interesting to be able to chip in with the above stats when someone was bragging about their super dooper 1.4GHZ, 256M Ram, 40GB HD system ...
... of course I have also been known to claim I am still running Win 3.1, 12M Ram, and a 512KB HD. }:->
