this is a questionnaire I wrote for my research into my gcse dt project breif to make a coffee table:

Im not entirely how the site i have used works, but if possible it would be easiest for me if you could download the file to your computer, edit it with your answers and then send it to me. If the checkboxes do not work, just underline the text of your answer.

Let's put it this way - I am not inclined to open up some word doc from a stranger when told it is "gcse dt project breif to make a coffee table" - what ever that means or entails. A web based survey on the other hand is safer.

I have to design and make a coffee table for my DT(design and technology) resistant materials GCSE(British qualification). The survey is for the research section of the project. I have to design a survey and analyse results. And I don't need your name, just leave it I don't even know why I put it in.

As a long holding, in good standing, member of the coffee table guild I am shocked... SHOCKED I say for this outsourcing of creative works and timeless craftsmanship to Tea -Sipping-Union-Jack-a-monkeys. Even more so to those of below apprentice grade.



In other news - if the table doesn't transform I will be severely pissed. Aka boxetti

Also if there are not pictures of the design sketches and final product there will be hell to pay.

I also believe Nykc's suggestion on structural integrity is sound. At my job we have a whole team dedicated to table rigidity under various scenarios of vigorous motions as well as fluid retention levels, stain resistance, and ease of cleaning. Mind you the women employed (we partner with a local adult film company) are not some waifish thin starlete.. no.. these women are imported from the wilds of Wisconsin, Iowa, Idaho, and Virgina for their great heighth and girth due to years of a steady diet of farm fresh produce, bacon, and punching cows. To say they were anything but thick would be an insult to the bed rock of these United States.
