So i got a 64 MB 4 X AGP Nvidia Siluro T-400 for christmas , and now every morning when i go to boot up , it will not boot , it has the alarm and there is no video on my screen , so after 3 or 4 trys , it boots fine , goes into windows ect. , my grandpa says its my power pack , im running 800 mhz chip over clocked to 1ghz with alot of stuff ( card reader , scanner , ex cd burner ect ect. ) and i only have a 350 W Power Supply , but , i dont think its the problim , possable but i dont think its likly becuase after it runs for a whyle i can re boot it a 1000 times through out the day and everything works fine , yesterday realisticly i rebooted 10 times or more and everything was fine , for the past 3 days this has been happening , and i even reloaded the drivers 1 time , no settings off of default , the card couldnt be much more tighter in there and Bios and Windows both know of the correct card , Any suggestions ?

if you had another card in there and it worked fine i'd say it's your card man. but then again you say that you reboot it several times ans it works... perhaps it a heating problem... like, until they warm up a bit the contacts aren't connecting very well... and when they heat up just enough they work just fine. i'd do this... put your old card back in for a day or so... when the system is cold and try to boot it up... if it works fine it's gotta be the card... if a replacement card doesn't fix it then it's gotta be your board. as in the slot on the board. i'd call both the mother board vendor and the card vendor and ask about compatibility issue between the two. it might be a known problem. try another brand of the same card. as you saw in the review i posted no 2 of those cards are exactly the same.
i think you're right about the power supply... unless it IS just bad that 350W should be enough to crank over a small Yugo.

and an aside to this thread... this problem isn't nearly as bad as chris' new Audigy card making his poor dell screeeeach for a minute then just power off at random. just weird.
