Imo, if you want to smoke, that's entirely your decision, but ffs keep it away from food and busy areas, its so friggin gay to find ashes in your food (trust me).

Do you like to dine in places that are completely smoke free or do you enjoy going to a nice smokey bar occasionally?
Here in AL we can pretty much smoke anywhere except for the fact that some city's have the smoking ban for restaurants. Thats fine by me (even though I smoke). I prefer not to be around kids smoking and I'm weird being around non-smokers smoking anyway. I rem when I stopped smoking for a few years I hated the smell of it and all. Most people greatly appreciate the fact I choose not to on those occasions out of respect for them. Dont get me wrong, sometimes I light one up anyway BUT ---
Yeah, most of the local restaurants and other places are beginning to participate in connecting city smoking ban.

Why do you say that? I think he's been pretty willful on several issues. The biggest one is the war in Iraq.

Here in Alberta they just passed a smoking ban in public places. They also try to ban it in cars where any passenger was under the age of 18, but that didn't fly.

Unlike a beliefs thread, I think people can actually come up with a intelligible opinion. Of course not in politics itself (which is also as bad as the beliefs thread), just the whole smoking ban thing itself (but of course this is only the ability to post something intelligible).

For sure. I was just talking about staying out of the political posts that weren't directly related to the ban. I don't really know enough about politics to post an erudite and insightful argument, so it would just be my gut feelings that I'd be basing any posts on. That's why I'm not going to comment on the political stuff.

If he cant handle the stress of quitting smoking how the hell is is able to handle the stress of running the country.
Talk is cheap and his actions are lacking.

Just remember kids the company and government won't take care of you. You are responsible for your own actions.

not that they dont care its just part of their culture and nothing that the goverment says will stop them. In Spain if a bar is less than 100 m2 then its up to the bar owner if he will allow smoking.
Fair play to them.
