How can I connect to an OData service using https

Posted 28 September 2012 - 12:16 AM

Im trying to write an application that connects to a WCF Data service exposing an OData endpoint. The service is hosted in my IIS and is using basic authentication. For setting up the connection on the client im using the Android client library from odata.org. So far so good. I can connect to the service and query for data. The problem comes when activating SSL for the service in the IIS and changing the URI in the client to use https. I then get the following error: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found. Im guessing I need to import the certificate to the emulator somehow? Is this correct, and if so how can this be done?
