A co-worker asked me to look at their laptop(Great Quality RX-7332) because it was running super slow. In addition to having plenty of malware, it also was running XP on 128 MB shared memory(111MB is what registers in Windows). I wiped it and tried using the mfr. recovery CDs but it was still running way slow. So I figured I would try 2k Pro, which seems to be running fine so far, but it won't recognize the onboard ethernet or video card adapter, etc. Without taking it apart(I don't trust myself to disassemble a laptop) is there any way to check what hardware is in it? I've tried searching for it, but haven't been able to find anything online.
Also, if it helps, heres the page for it http://www.fryssupport.net/rx7332.cfm

Hmm... I know this doesn't really help at all, but I had a great quality laptop once. It got adware on it, so I put the system recovery cd in and all it did was take windows off, not put it back on. So I bought a windows cd, and that wouldn't install either. Finally, I just put Ubuntu on it and now it works fine.
