Whatever happend to our constitutional rights.  Isn't there something about Freedom of Speech.  Hmmm I dunno.
So what if there are underage members.  They have the right to decided weather or not they will enter into the CFL.  Before signing up...make 'em sign a waiver or something.  Just because there are people who moderate, I don't feel it gives them the right to decided what we can say.  Again, I think Chris should perhaps, re-do the terms of the site, which he already stated he would.  However, I still don't agree that someone has the power to decide what I can say and what I can't say.  If I personally offend someone, they need to have the Balls to come to me and tell me, because I would do the same.

ooh I just thought of one more thing too....Maybe the moderators for the CL shouldn't be members who are not of legal age...

I am probably going to catch all sorts of flack for this but feel I need to get my 2¢ in as well.

We all are allowed freedom of speech by the Constitution. That does not mean anyone is required to publish what we say.

If I am not totally incorrect, this forum system is run by an individual and that individual is totally within his rights to refuse to publish anything he wants.

If you don't like that, start your own forum.

I like your thinking, and as the 'publisher'/'owner' of this site, my feeling is that I want to talk about anything and everything, but I'm on the side of, I don't want to offend anyone or make people feel uncomfortable. I'm all for posting about your crazy wild lifestyle, but I also want to make sure people aren't being offended or leaving because of it. I think moving it to the very bottom was/is a good idea and will encourage growth in the other forums since people have to scroll down through them now to see the CL.

I choose to be open with most everything, when I closed those 2 threads today, it was because I felt sloth and a couple other mods might want to close them, but feel pressured into not closing them. This thread has given me some good ideas, such as adding the 'mature content' label to the lounge as well as changing the description.

If I don't want to do something, I don't do it, but I want that lounge to be open, I hate haveing to 'check' myself when I post to see if I'm breaking the rules, cause normally I am.

But now everything will be a bit better and more relaxed, not as much tension.

i don't exactly see chris killing threads... i guess you could say he's doing it indirectly... because he appoints people to mod the forums... but it doesn't really matter.  the great chris hath spoken and things will get changed.

actually, i didnt lock, because well, you told me not too... i dont give a #### bout pressure, if i had, woulda unlocked the thread i had locked...

second of all, i agree that its chris' finall decision, i think a lot of us are just worried about the site, which weve (at least a lot of us) spent a lot of time at, and never had to talk about sex/drugs/etc.. to have fun...

In regards to that, I think we still have a lot of fun without talking bout sex, drugs, etc.

But we also have a lot of good laughs reading the posts with the aforementioned topics.

Change is good, I can't make everyone happy, but I aim to please :)
