Rpg Game not a clue

Posted 19 October 2012 - 07:08 AM

Alright, so I'm attempting to make an rpg game in vb.net. so far i have absolutley nothing. its different from what i usually do. one of my buddies made one he had a rectangle with like a tree a bush some grass and his character and he used certain parts of the rectangle to draw it on the form. it redrew the character instead of moving him and i thought i could do that and make some really cool stuff. problem is i don't know where to start. if i could get a jump start i might be able to do it on my own with little to no help at all

Why don't you pick one & focus on it. Then start the other one when the 1st one is done? I would think you would learn faster that way.
