A safety net seems excessive. Wouldn't a helmet and leathers do the job?

I have the safety net fund that only gets dipped into for necessary expenses (like when the heating bills are so high that till you pay them, the rent, daycare, and the rest of the utilities, you're left with less than $150 to cover gas and food for 3 people for the entire month).
I also have a shit-I-want-to-buy fund. It grows much more slowly than my safety net, but it's specifically for things that I want but don't need (like a dishwasher or professional matting/framing of my signed James Hance prints).

For me it's a skewed viewpoint. I don't spend money, don't like to, usually don't. My safety net is fairly sized for an individual my age, thus the Toy Fund/Safety Net are kinda combined.
Been eyeing that particular toy since February but forced myself to wait until this winter to build up better funds.
(Back then, there wouldn't have been much of any safety net!)

ok, emails are out, please check the email inbox of the address you mailed me from. lemme know if you notice any problems or have any questions.
don't forget a couple things
1. don't reveal yourself as the secret satan until after the gift has been recieved (either in packaging, in this thread, whatever), you also don't have to reveal yourself, but if you're gonna don't do it until after the gift arrives.
2. please post here when you send your gift/receive your gift so i can keep track of who is on the ball and who is slacking.
3. email me if you have any problems that can't shouldn't be stated publicly.
oh, and in the end i included cc because miraculously it makes a lot of sense, but i did not include athena because i didn't let a couple other lurkers who were essentially in the same boat join in and i at least try to be fair when i can. sorry athena, stick around and you can join in next year.
weird was the lurker who i turned down last year and then they basically didn't post all year and tried again this year even after i told them the only way to join in was participating all year. if you're reading this dude, post more!

Debating if I should postpone my utility bills and go "all out"... either way, whatever I get "That person", should be cool.. Gonna order on Friday.
