Define "nature". Human nature? Our surroundings in said time of need? Trees and shit?

Well, it was a very bad day at work where nothing seemed to work at all...there were a bunch of errors which were not willing to get resolved...I was so damn frustrated that I shut down my computer and had a walk in the premises. I seemed to note that there was a very different feel listening to the chirping birds, the leaves rustling in the wind and I felt somewhat energized.
So, I went back to my computer with a new hope of solving the errors...and lo and behold...it seemed like a miracle when I started going through the program and I found some very silly errors that I had overlooked and began resolving them. Before I knew it, I had solved all the errors.
All thanks to mother nature
regards,
Raghav

This end-of-piracy thing is modeled after two things in nature: flocking (and bickering) in birds, and the schooling behavior of Piranha. The first has all the social elements you probably know about, but the second is really cool: Piranha don't form large schools unless there is a common interest. There are lots of deadlier fish in the Amazon, not to mention dolphins and predatory birds and so on that will eat them without hesitation- so they tend to stick in small groups of 3-5 fish until they encounter, say, a cow.
So the self-organizing behavior that is completely motivated by self-interest but which is altruistic in spite of that (because they all get a cow as a result) is really a good model for what I'm doing- there are other bits, but that's the basis for why decisions are made and how the social behavior from birds is assessed.

I have all my best ideas while on the crapper. That's nature, right?

For real? Me too! I sometimes go crazy trying to solve a problem and then the answer just comes to me in the crapper.

One time out in nature I fell on my but. That inspired me to never try skateboarding again.
