Hey dudes. Whats up. I have a problem. I am leaning towards the BURNER being the problem. I bought a SE-S184 SAMSUNG EXTERNAL USB DRIVE and i cant get it to boot from on my 8510GZ gateway laptop... I can boot off of my USB DRIVE.. but i cant boot off of the new burner...
i plugged this on my desktop and was able to boot from the usb dvd drive through the USB-CDROM option... hmmm anyone had a problem like this before?
ima take it back tommorow and exchange it for a LG one that has 5 star reviews on NEWEGG.com

before you exchange it you might want to take a look into seeing if your laptop actually supports booting off an external optical drive.

well, it doesnt... im pretty sure its cause the USB DRIVE needs to draw power from the USB drive... ohh well, so ima just buy a replacement drive... im just going to get a pioneer one and modify it to fit this biatch!
