Found a great article on NewsFactor today. It takes a look at Linux and MacOS X and how the Apple OS may just be the answer to a *nix GUI. I personally love OS X and wish I could use it more. So even believe it could stronglly compete with Microsofts OS. To me there seems to be a growing community around OS X and it's exciting to see a lot of development talent turning that way.
Apple's OS X: What Linux Wants To Be?Could OS X be the answer?

I can't help but think that little Billy is shaking in his boots. I think OS X is what every GUI OS is looking to be (Linux, XP, etc.)
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if Apple can provide some Sub 迀 computers with OS X, in 3 years they will have a major share of the market (25%+). If I had any money right now, I'd be buying apple stock. OS X will save the Mac. FO SHO.

OS-X Rocks. Running it right now on my Imac G3/400.
Runs great, looks great, solid as a rock. Nice clean GUI with Unix command line available if needed.
I have experimented with Linux with some success, but to be honest, it's just to "geeky" for mass acceptance.
I'm not being critical when I say this, just stating what I think is a fact.
