It would be easier to help you if you showed us a sprite-sheet.
The first thing I want to say is that, apart from the lion (which is impressive but also quite hard to judge because there aren't many frames and it updates very fast) it seems obvious that you didn't have much space on your canvas and that your brain constrained you in that narrow space. A walking person is moving, maybe you could move the character on the canvas while drawing: you would stack the frames later but it would prevent you from making a lot of mistakes.

Looks fine if you think he is river dancing.... or just got back from fight club. Of course we don't know that since he won't tell you about fight club.

I think most of the problem is where his feet are being placed. See how the one frame has his foot in front of the other? I know you have a perspective going on here, but his foot should be further off to the right.

Keep up the refinements. :)

Right I think I have this down the general premise is there the images do need a rough clean up and the shadow for the left-hand needs to be better but apart from that, I think I have it..!

I know you are not asking for advice any more (for some reason), but I think you need to hear this one: if you want to study pose and animation, it is best to work with stick/box figures. Having your character completely drawn with colours and shadows forbids you to correct the pose because you are stuck with what you have already drawn: it becomes too costly to make big changes. This is referred to as "escalation of commitment" in psychology, it's a real thing and it's a pain in the butt for anyone practising anything. I saw this bias in many of the works you posted here: you go too far too soon and consequently it becomes costly to correct your mistakes. Here your walking cycles has something completely messed up, but your last changes are so subtle I can barely see them. It is a good illustration of what I mentioned above: you seem to be stuck with what you have done.
