What just happened? I was unable to load the site for about half an hour and when it finally came back up the posts I and a couple others had made today were gone.

Probably means the site was "recovered" to an earlier saved state.

The servers for the board, were just updated to SSD drives. Post attachments are back, and the site should be a bit snappier.

POPULAR
We just completely migrated to a new datacenter, with new.. much faster.. servers. The restore took a couple hours. I hadn't planned on doing it mid-day, but the old server took a shit this afternoon so I said screw it, and just flipped the DNS to point at the new boxes.
Nothing like a trial by fire to see how these puppies handle the load.

Our monitoring service is showing response times almost half what they were before. Under 700ms compared to 1,200+ms

How many pages are actually painting though? I've had MANY pages just display blank, in Safari, Chrome and IE. Doesn't matter if I clear caches and so on. Many, like this thread are fine. It seems to be recent pages.
Most of the pages from the main page's "unanswered topics" block come up blank. If I load pages from my profile | my topics, they all come up fine.

Looks like an issue with the .htaccess/mod_rewrite for the .htm extension on those.
The threads are there, the rewrite just isn't working it looks like.

Awesome. The only major thing that's still not up is the snippets, and then the error for related topics. I have to rebuild the entire sphinx database it looks like and re-teach myself how all that works
