Of course you took Sanskrit. Anyone else posts that and I'd be like "what the fuck?!". You post that jon, and it almost doesn't even stand out to me.

Sanskrit? My school didn't even have that lol. Our earliest classes were 830 but since we're bitching about early mornings I have to be at work at 630 every day. There for a while I had to come in on Fridays at 3 or 4 which was nice because I could be home for "lunch"

Today I got to go to OSU to do some work. Really was a punch in the gut reminding me of how I didn't get my shit done on time and now I can't go back to school this year. And it's not even a prevailing wage job.

I wouldn't mind one of those. Maybe if I go back after graduation and get a second degree that's what it will be. Gotta get my first. I think when I do go back I'm going to drop my German minor. Sad, as that was my favorite part of college.

I have a friend going to George Mason for a CS major and a linguistics minor. Too much work IMO.

My linguistics degree got me into a couple of CS courses - "oh, you did linguistics? Okay, so you know trees and stuff, you can do compilers!".
Might have been easier to just do CS, but I had no idea what I was going to be doing with myself when I was 18 (does anyone?)

The prereq for the compilers course at my school is Systems. Bleh. I'm not interested in doing the low-level work.

So do linguistics. It opens doors.

See, I'm one if those people who can pick up programming languages in a heartbeat but I'm hopeless at spoken languages. That, and I kind of hate people.

Ah, well. Then you'll have to suffer through Systems, I guess.
Compilers is totally worth it, though.

Today, in haiku:
Holy fuck. Site launch.
I think I may just vomit.
Can't eat. Can't sleep. Fuck.
