Man, theres a place by me that imports alcohol from everywhere. It's nuts. I've only ever encountered one alcohol they couldn't find - Billyrock Station wine.

yeah my kids have had them since they were 10.

we bought them because they were never home and for incase we needed to be able to get a hold of them

My older child got her first phone at 10 (because she was freshly diagnosed as diabetic and needed to be able to reach me at all times). Which means - to be fair among the spawn - I have to buy the younger child her first phone at 10... which she is. They both want iPhones. I had the Verizon guy put a 2GB/month cap on the data usage for their lines. I said they could have smart phones. I didn't say they could have unlimited internet access.

Me, I'm on the hunt for a new & bigger TV over the holidays. Something along the 50" LED variety. I've already seen an ad for a Sharp brand for $400, but could potentially get my preferred brand Vizio 55" LED SmarTV (don't really care much about my TV having Wifi personally) for $480.

Anyone have any recommendations for Sound Bars? I'm looking to ditch my old wired surround sound system and replace with a simple Sound Bar/Sub.

First one was for adding a new line to my account - which extends my freaking contract another 2 years (Verizon owns my soul and half my paycheck).

The other was because my older daughter was due for her "new every two" upgrade on her phone.

So, yeah, two FREE iPhones... and the kids will think I just spent a couple hundred bucks on them for Christmas. It's a win-win.

The kids and I have been working on a puppet theater all afternoon. They're still hard at work making puppets and costumes and backdrops and props. They haven't even started writing scripts. This will keep them occupied for the entirety of Thanksgiving break.
