ha you need to do what we do--- release the stuff before it is even tested because our customers demand it that way-------then you can here how aweful your product is and how nothing works

working on a project on an extremely short deadline that deals with the feds bullshit rules.
it involves, taking 17,000 lines of a text file, in which everything is character spaced. reading it in to my object. saving it to a database. reading everything out of the database into my object again, transforming it into a new object in fed format, saving it into different tables for this new format so that we have an audit trail, taking the object and also writing it into a new character spaced text file with some PPI removed, ftping it to a server.

I took a half day for my buddy's birthday.. had lunch with folks, drank exotic adult beverages, had a cigar, and came home. Now the apartment over from me has two fire trucks attending to it. Greaaaaaaaaaat.

Working on installing Crunchbang onto a USB drive, making it persistent, setting up a limited user account, and setting its shell to a small Python script I wrote so it can fill management's need for metrics on something for 1-2 months.
