If you are getting a lock up like that on an aging PC running Windows, that is a very good indicator that your hard drive is dying and that Windows is making multiple attempts to read data off the disk and failing. Good luck finding a new machine. I'm suppose to help my mother-in-law tomorrow shop for a new machine.

As for how does Cloudflare help with up time? It helps because it artificially raises the up time statistic. Most up time monitors just make a web page request on a few key home pages. If a page is successfully returned, they consider the site to be up. They don't care if it is a page that was cached by Cloudflare, or if it truly is a current page.
It's like the cable company claiming that you are getting over 25Mbps. They don't care if it's only the transient Speedboost of 25Mbps for the first 30 seconds, and then throttle you back down to 10Mbps for the rest of your 60 minute download. From their point of view, they gave you 25Mbps. They don't care if it was actually useful for your actual use case.

I'm still unable to use the search feature even if I disable Adblock Plus. Is this one of the features that is still disabled?
