Iam trying to add 3 JLabels and JTextfields to my GUI program. I need to put them on the East panel but above the north, south, east and west navigation buttons which I have already added.

I have attached a picture of how I am trying to get my program to look so you can see the Option Square and Direction labels which i am trying to create.
I am using eclipse to create this program. If needed I can add my program so far let me know.

Any help will be much appreciated

Not easy without seeing your code but if you make a Box.createHorizontalBox()
and you add to that box a GridLayout(3,2) for these JLabel and TextFields
followed by the navigation buttons
followed by a GridLayout(2,2)
followed by ...

tha Box would perfectly fit in the EAST region
