Rosen usually writes a good book. I've heard he's not always the easiest guy to get along with, but I used his Number Theory book last semester. It was really good in the beginning. I'd bet it would be good for teaching you some basic logic as well.

Oh i will be in Intro to computation class in the fall
It was hard to understand, to be honest. My professor had his ideas and concepts because of inadequate understanding from the book. This also made things harder as his own logic were new and not yet published.

Are you using Rosen's Discrete Math book? That one is actually really good. I didn't know Rosen had a Theory of Computation book.

I've never used it personally. I have used Epp and Johnsonbaugh when I took Discrete. Epp is a little more friendly to beginners, and Johnsonbaugh is really geared towards computer scientists. The latter is a lot more technical.

See if you can preview it on Amazon or something, or at the bookstore before buying. It's not a cheap textbook.
