Some questions you may want to ask your self.
Why do I want to learn C++?
What do I want to accomplish?
How much time can I spend on learning?

Based on these answers you will discover a variety of methods that will work best for you. If you are looking for a career path, and formal instruction, maybe a university would be best. On the other hand, you may be looking to learn on the side casually.

There are many tutorials on this site. There are also vast amounts of tutorials on youtube for all experience levels. The best thing to do is expose your self to all of these mediums and see what helps you learn the most.

A good site with a lot of links is the creator of C++s site. The following two links are great reference sites, and the first also includes some tutorials: http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/ and http://en.cppreference.com/w/. This last link is to a site with free book downloads for the "Thinking in..." series, specifically "Thinking in C++". The book itself is somewhat old, but it still contains some really good info especially if you know C already.

There are a few tutorials online.

What OS are you using Windows or Linux or Mac OSX? You will need a compiler/IDE.

The web is the finest place to learn really obscure things. If you have the money, go buy a highly praised book on C++ and go from there. If you don't have the money, there good beginner tutorials on the web.

Try getting a C++ book, reading it carefully and doing the exercises (if any are available). A good book would be C++ How to Program, from Deitel. Check it here: http://deitel.com/Bo...4/Default.aspx.

There are several good books available free for download, such as Thinking in C++.
