New Topic/Question
You know, right now I kind of wish there was a machine that would walk through every step of the code I was writing and show me, visually, what was going where and what was causing what.
I'm sure many of us would appreciate this!

An invisibility cloak, it's not a machine, but I think it would be pretty cool.

Iunno, he just told me about being able to "step through" with the debugger instead of just letting it run D: That already helps clear up a lot of things

Sigh. You have a much more effective tool for this. It's the most powerful computer you'll ever use.
Step-through debuggers are cute, but your brain works much, much better.

If I could trust my brain to handle anything beyond keeping me alive I might have been using that more often, not wishing for a "machine".
Unfortunately it still has trouble working in straight lines, so going down and reading what I've got feels a lot like following the path of a tangled clump of yarn (for the record I have miniscule, almost unmentionable experience in coding). I understand that this is something I can get better at, and I probably will, but when I end up dizzy from all the lines I'll probably fall back on the debugger.
Great positive thinking though!
