Restoring 'My Documents' Library in Windows 8

Posted 25 September 2013 - 02:59 PM

I am running Windows 8 64bit on a home built computer. I had to reinstall windows earlier this week from unrelated reasons. I transferred my data from the old partition to the new one and it seems that the Documents library under 'Libraries' does not link to my 'My Documents' folder under Users/userName... It works for pictures and music, but not documents for some reason. I have tried deleting the library and restoring it manually, but that does not work. Any ideas?

Right-clicking the Libraries folder offers the option to Restore default libraries.
Right-clicking a folder has the option to Include in Library.

That's as far as my knowledge extends ;) (and you probably knew this already..)
