After spending a couple of sleepless nights over the weekend playing Civ 5 with a friend, the news about a new Civ, but set in the future was very nearly big enough news to wake me up.
Also, have been playing L4D and L4D2 recently, after picking them up in a Steam sale. They are fun, although people are annoying when they keep running in front of your gun.

Arcs of fire are a mystery to most people.
I think part of the problem is that people play on multiplayer but expect you to act like an AI bot for them still.

I am puttering around Saints Row 3 nicely.. apologizing to people for hitting their cars, or folks getting in the middle of a cross fire. I don't think I am built for mayhem games.

Try playing LA Noire. It's like a GTA style game, but you do badly in performance reports if you crash into people, cars, etc, or letting people get stuck in the crossfire.

We need a big network game going once this comes out. There are not sufficient words in the English language to describe my excitement. It's like...

excitement += excitement

Pedantically, in many languages, integers are initialized to 0, so your loop will never run.

Civ 5: Laid the Smack down on 8 Opponents on Settler, Now I am working on one on one on Chieftain then I am going to do 8 Opponents on chieftain. Then I plan to work my way up the challenge tree : 1 vs 1, 1 vs 8 (rinse and repeat). Used to have problems with Monarch in Civ IV(1 vs 8), so I will see if can get back up there on Civ 5

It's still a pretty questionable series and game setup.

Wasn't as fast as SWTOR lol
Man...Defiance pissed me off. I was all excited because it looked like such a cool concept. It was so badly implemented, and the story was so damned stupid, I was just like. . .

I try to to stick with one MMO RPG at a time. Unfortunately right now , my CIV 5 addiction has taken over, especially since I found out it had achievements

The FPS sounds a bit Borderlands-ish, but maybe fun.
Awww.
Mmmmm.. I always have a hell of a time with space sims due to a lack of joystick (though, maybe with my 360 controller I can make up for that), but now I may have to throw down for a Rift if, for anything, to ogle the depths of space and see if it stares back into my soul. That and pretty explosions.

At a keynote presentation during its international Fanfest this morning, EVE Online developer CCP announced "Project Legion," a PC-focused online shooter following on the company's somewhat-stalled efforts on PS3 shooter Dust 514.
The Unreal-engine powered, free-to-play Project Legion will be based on three gameplay pillars, as executive producer Jean-Charles Gaudechon told PC World. At the core is a skill-based competitive multiplayer shooter, but there's also an open-world sandbox element that involves fighting environmental threats and looting materials from those battles, Gaudechon said. That looting will drive the third pillar, an in-game economy involving free-market trading between players that sounds very similar to the driving force in CCP space shooter EVE Online.

Dust isn't being immediately shut down in favor of this new PC shooter, but its days as a relatively unpopular shooter on what's quickly becoming legacy hardware do seem numbered

In addition to EVE Online, CCP is also continuing development on EVE Valkyrie, a more action-focused space shooter designed specifically for virtual reality headsets like the Oculus Rift and Sony's Project Morpheus. CCP announced this week that Battlestar Galactica actress Katee Sackhoff will have a prominent role in the game.

Ya, I'm pissed at CCP. Not surprised, but they've all but officially sacked the World of Darkness MMO. Saw it coming years ago but now it's official.
