The right event

Posted 30 October 2013 - 09:17 PM

i have two text fields and these are purposely for dates...
have you noticed that when you click in the text field a monthly calendar pops out??? i have that code and it runs successfully.. but i need my page to be accurate and i want it to show a table row..

for example:
i click on the first text field labeled START DATE and selected 10/28/2013
i click on the second text field labeled END DATE and selected 10/31/2013

after clicking those and the text field is being field up it will automatically get the difference of the two dates... i have the code for getting the difference of the two dates so i have no problem in it.. if the difference between the two dates is equal to 0 then i have to show a <tr> tag with a drop down list...

i have been searching for the right event in this...
i doubt it it on key press since when i click the text field, it will show a monthly calendar that has to be clicked and i need the two text fields to be field up in order to get the difference... any ideas on what the event should i use???

Either onblur, or onfocus of some of the other fields. Or you could add a button to perform the calculation.
